Online Multiplayer Bug and Steam

The online multiplayer bug found in a0.75 where you can’t see the servers listed in the lobby has been fixed. A new build will be released tomorrow along with all the other platform builds.

Steam has approved us for release on March 11th, at 12pm PST. Yay!

We’ll will start emailing out Steam keys to all people who bought the game before Steam starting on Wednesday. It’ll probably take a few days to complete that task.

    • For multiplayer you need two things, having purchase a multiplayer version of the game and create a account via the game interface. Your multiplayer account had nothing related to your forum account or thus.

  9. way we all waiting on the keys is there going to be a nothere update to this 75 our is this just for the steam .. i keep checking my mail and this page all day

    I think many of us are waiting for the keys now, I think the sooner it goes out, the more people will play via Steam and people will no doubt be curious of what their friends are playing. It will hopefully be really good for you!

  13. When can i expect the key? I’m guessing you knew the date it was being released on Steam…why was the keys not sent out the same day.

  20. As running the new A0.75 PC-version in Parallels on a Mac is only half the fun due to performance and texture problems, when is it to expect A0.75 in Mac and Linux version?

  21. Love the game but mildly disappointing that 0.75 did not include more of the storyline to complete.

  22. Sorry didn’t know where els to get a answer. But I got the key for steam and went to play but the wasd keys don’t move my guy and esc button won’t work ether. It the number button for selecting what’s in my hit bar? I did all I can deleted and reinstalled, also restated the PC nothing worked. Help plz

  26. Hi all. I just bought the game its goood. But i have a problem. I choose the area where i want to play in adventure mode (grass, desert, forest etc.), but it load only grassland. Can anybody help me. THX

  27. I’ve got a question about multiplayer.

    Do we have to host our own multiplayer? Like do we have to do it by third party or host it on our own router and mess with the settings there? An example of this would be Minecraft.

    Or can we host it directly though you but on our own internet, so that we would not need to set up a server? An example of this would be Border Lands 2 multiplayer player.

    I forgot the name of the two differences, so I can only hope I’m explaining it in a clear way.

    • Router/3rd party pretty easy though they tell you the ports you must open when you click host.

      • Ehh opening the ports is a pain for my brand of router… But thanks for the info.
