Planet Explorers is available for pre-purchase as an alpha product, incomplete and with bugs, with the aim of a bug free final build working on most machines. You are buying the final build, with the perk of playing the alpha and the beta. We do not promise that the alpha or beta builds will be bug free or will work on all machines.

Before making your purchase, you may try our free alpha build on the download page (a0.72 demo) to evaluate the game. You may also contact us at admin@pathea.net with any questions.

After purchasing Planet Explorers, you’ll receive a game key. As long as the key is not activated, you can request a full refund up to 30 days after purchase from admin@pathea.net. Once the key is activated, you have 3 days (72 hours) to request a refund for the game due to performance issues only. Beyond the above time limitations, no refund will be issued. If you claim the corresponding Steam key, you will forfeit you right to a refund.

  11. To update, my credit card account says the charge is pending, so that could be the issue. Paypal took Christmas day off, so maybe I have to wait until tomorrow. Guess I’ll wait and see.

  14. Ok. So i got the game to run earlier today. Now the launcher wont load up as it says to check a specific folder that’s been input into the main directory folder. Neither application runs now and i really don’t want to have to re-DL the game again because i feel that the access code, that i recieved in email, may not work a second time around if the game asks for me to re-activate.

    Is there a way that i can send the file information to you guys?

So even on the lowest graphics I still lag horribly to the point turnign results in either A-A near 180 turn when using Q or E keys to turn, or 3-5 second delay when turning with the mouse O.o… Great music at least but no way to even get started in the game like this even with Game Booster on. Any help would be appreciated. I can run Tomb Raider 2013 and all Mass Effect games on this thing without issue so idk what the deal is.

    • Well, the opencl process is pretty gpu/cpu intense. Your 2.2Ghz cpu is not helping matters especially if you don’t have a gpu. Also, there are 2 low graphics settings in game, 1 is in the launcher, another one is in options in the main menu. They’re different, so you should turn both of them to the lowest settings.

  22. Hi there. Just bought the game and thrilled to play, but I can’t. Same issues already discussed about in the forums. I have an iMac with a Radeon 4850 HD. Managed to enter the game a couple of times but never got to play it, and has crashed on launch every other times. Are you working this issue out?

  26. I keep getting “can not connect to activation server” or “server return null” when i try to activate. I had the game for .62 and it worked fine now i have to reactivate after downloading .72 and I cannot.

    • Ah, that’s because you extracted directly into the old folder. Delete the OptionConfig.xml and the LauncherConfig.xml files in the main PE folder and restart again.

  28. By what I have seen of the game it is rather awesome to say the least =)
    I will be getting it on steam when it’s available, the only thing I would personally add in-game is ragdoll physics as it makes creature slaying much more satisfying. Do you have any plans on including that?
