Here are 3 save files for people wanting to jump directly to the newest story parts of a0.7:
Save 1 – Meeting Tariq
Save 2 – After Andhera Encounter
Save 3 – Earth Camp
A0.71, which will try to fix most of the bugs people are listing on our board will be out sometimes next week. We will be adding in the option to pick cpu for voxel rendering in the launcher, as well as selecting opengl or directx.
Is Ter any way to transfer over my save from the last version iv a lot of stuff build I’d like to have in the new version. Home base , helicopters, cars . Etc ?
You can use the converter in the download page to convert the items, but the save itself won’t work too well since the new build has too many new items/quests that will screw up the save.
Ahh damn. Alright thanks for the reply. Great game. Keep up the good work!
Oh will future updates be the same will you have to start over again. Or can I start building and it will transfer over to the newer versions
Awesome job on the new Update guys!
Kudos guys! Having fun with this!
PLZ if you have time / can, try to get the xbox 360 controller support and controller configurations setup PLZ and thanks
I lost all my saved ISO’s. It just replaced them with the new update.
That’s impossible, since the game doesn’t install, so it can’t replace. The isos are still over in the Documents\PlanetExplorers\VoxelCreationData\Isos folder. You just need to convert them to a0.7 iso format with the converter in the downloads section.
I just looked in the folder and it’s empty. =/
Ok Found it, it was in another folder with a different name but I found them. Thanks, and sorry for talking so much here. I was pretty bummed.
Where was that other folder and what was the different name? Because my ISO folder in Documents are also empty 🙁
ISOs are is ~\Documents\PlanetExplorers\VoxelCreationData\Isos
This is a reply to the admin below me, and not you Kroglith,
“No, they are not admin. That is what I am trying to say. The ISOs are not in the folder they are supposed to be in. Which makes no sense, because I can play the game. They are not in \Documents\PlanetExplorers\VoxelCreationData\Isos They are practically nowhere to be found on my whole computer. Or maybe I am an idiot 🙁
P.S. Sorry, I made that comment about it not being a reply to you, Kroglith, sound arrogant in some way. Sorry about that. I just thought, since there were no “Reply” option under the admin’s comment, that it would show up on your comment. Sorry about that confusion 🙂
Admin, is the reason why I have no ISOs in the folder that I have not unpacked the newest version of the game or something? I can’t understand why the ISO folder is empty when I can play my save just fine. I have only downloaded the newest update’s .zip by the way, by torrenting, and have not unpacked the updated version yet. I just don’t understand where my current ISOs are… this is very odd!
Happy New Year from England <3

Wait for the new demos to come out when a0.71 hits, download the demos, try and see. 🙂
Hi, wicked game. I updated to 0.7 and I cant figure out where to put the save files so that they work?
Also noticed the gunshot sounds arent working, this version seems a lot more taxing on my CPU than 0.53 too had to switch back to lower resolution as it kept shutting down the comp! I have an i7 too!
You put the save files in Documents\PlanetExplorers\SaveData, also, are you running 64bit os or 32bit? This build is a lot more taxing for the 32bit, we’re still working on that.
Well im running windows 64 bit but I have the game folder located in Program files (x86) is it possible that its only letting it run in 32 because of the location?
I know with my audio editing software any vsts located in P F (x86) run in 32bit so maybe thats an issue. Even if it wont work properly yet for me I wont be asking for a refund. Money well spent. Keep up the great work 🙂
Hmm, you might want to post the output log on our bugs section of the board so we can take a closer look.
this may be a rly stupid question but : were do i put the savefile? i cant find a savegame folder anywhere :S could someone plz give a quick easy way to do this? im a bit of a noob in these things….
geh, sorry didnt read before posting…… cant remove the post either, failing hahahaha
Will the weapon sounds be back in 0.71?
since i started playing for about 2 weeks there is an issue were my character
sinks into the ground its like I’m under water i can see above and have to go backwards to get out.
Please post the output log found in the game_data folder on the bugs section of the messageboard.
C:\Users\username\Documents\PlanetExplorers\CreateData\Isos is simply empty for me, and I do not understand why. I can play my saved games fine. I have downloaded the newest update through the torrent you guys provided back then the new update came out. I have not unpacked or started the new updated version yet. So, where are my current ISOs? This makes no sense. Even the ISO Converter, which detects the ISO folder automatically, tells me that there is “0 ISOs” inside the folder. That’s what it is writing. Am I just really stupid and are looking in the wrong folder?
Stay creative,
Best wishes,
– Lukas S.
P.S. Wait… what exactly are ISOs for? If I want to resume my singleplayer game on the new update, is the ISOs I need to convert? Or did I get it all wrong?
ISO files are the things you create and save in the Creations Editor, if you haven’t made any or haven’t imported any from other players, then of course the folder will be empty.
But what will I need to do then if I want to continue from where I left off in the singleplayer story mode? Can I just open the new version and it will just use the old save files that I have in their respective folder?
From 0.62 >>> 0.7, no. From 0.7 >>> 0.72, yes.
Thank you so much Admin! I will fire up the new version immediately 🙂
